I still find Heifetz and Linsky’s Leadership On the Line the best book on leadership in years. They quantify the cost of leadership and why people don’t do it, the strategies behind why and how people resist your leadership and ways to lead through them, and care for the leader because leadership is so costly. I wish I had read this 15 years ago.
Thanks for the list. I value your insights, as always.
